Williamstown croquet club located in Victoria street, Williamstown is the home of mallet sports in the Hobsons Bay area of Melbourne Western Suburbs in Australia. Catchment area also includes the areas of Newport, Footscray, Yarraville, Altona, Seddon, Spotswood, Werribee and Laverton. Members of williamstown Croquet Club play association croquet, golf croquet and gateball both socially and in regular tournaments, competitions and pennant. The club is a friendly environment and features an excellent clubhouse which is used by members and is also a hall for hire to external clubs, families and organisations. Croquet and other mallet sports are games played by striking balls with a mallet through hoops or gates on a grass lawn. The games can be enjoyed by players of all ages, levels of fitness and abilities.



Williamstown Croquet Club nestles in an old-world picturesque setting in the heart of Williamstown. Members have been playing croquet and enjoying social activities at this popular venue for the past 80 years. The club is vibrant and extremely friendly and new members are always welcome.
Clubhouse Association Croquet, Golf Croquet and Gateball are all regularly played on our well-groomed lawns.

At the recent Annual Meeting the Executive positions of the club remain unchanged. John Grieve, President, Elizabeth Kane is Secretary and our Treasurer is Jean Moran. The other members of the committee are Lawrie Money, Jenny Jolley, Tony Green and Adrian Masterman-Smith.

We welcome Adrian to the Committee and we look forward to him handling the Hall Hire aspects of our operation. We greatly appreciate the work Jenny has done in this area in recent years and thank Adrian for agreeing to assume responsibility for the next season.
